Marketing Site

While working at Fonatur, I was tasked with redesigning the Marketing website’s interface. The existing site lacked a clear visual hierarchy and identity, making it difficult for users to identify and access the most relevant information.

I made two redesign proposals: one with the institution’s established visual identity and color palette, and another that explored a more contemporary design approach based on my own creative direction.

Postcards

These illustrations depict real locations and were designed for use on promotional merchandise such as postcards, stickers, and tote bags, intended for distribution at tourism conventions and industry events. The landscapes featured belong to Fonatur’s Integrally Planned Centers (CIPs), a network of strategically developed tourism destinations across Mexico.

Haptic Maps

The Turkish government donated a series of informational signage totems for the beaches of Acapulco. Each totem was required to include a Braille translation of all displayed information, as well as a tactile version of the maps to ensure accessibility for visually impaired visitors.

The tactile maps incorporated a variety of textures to represent different landscape elements and elevations. For example, the sea was depicted using a wave-like texture, while other features were distinguished through unique tactile patterns and varying relief heights.
